Ben Dykes talks about:
Basic Traditional Chart Interpretation
Ben Dykes will present several techniques and ideas for interpreting a natal chart in a traditional way.
There will be a little theory to get us going, but the evening will focus on practical chart interpretation and prediction,
using house rulers, dignities, and profections (an annual predictive technique).
Even if you are not a traditionalist, your chart reading will become more enhanced, concrete, and accurate.
We will use the seven traditional planets and whole-sign houses.
This talk will be especially suitable for people attending the weekend workshop, but will be helpful for anyone else, as well.
Please bring a copy of a chart. Of course, it will be best to have a «traditional» chart to work with.
Benjamin Dykes, PhD (Philosophy) is a leading medieval astrologer and translator.
He earned his medieval astrology qualification from Robert Zoller and taught philosophy courses at universities in Illinois and Minnesota.
He recently published Traditional Astrology for Today, The Forty Chapters of al-Kindi, and The Book of the Nine Judges.
In 2012 he will publish a traditional work on elections, and translations in mundane astrology.
In 2007–08 he translated Guido Bonatti’s Book of Astronomy and the Works of Sahl & Masha’allah, on all branches of traditional astrology.

submit your birth data to charts@STARSinMN.org.
Your traditional birth chart will wait for you at the meeting. All data will be kept confidential.
